THE NEW ECONOMIC PARADIGM IS HERE
JUNE 11 2008: THE IEA IS CALLING FOR AN ENERGY REVOLUTION and says it will cost 45 Trillion dollars.
The revolution should start here at MIE as $ 4.00 DOLLAR GASOLINE IS NOW SLOWLY FILTERING THROUGH THE U.S. ECONOMY. Someone forgot to tell them that In any revolution you need soldiers/technicians on the front lines. Films and high profile celebrity and politcal pundits have been helpful but someone has got to pick up a wrench and fix the worlds broken carbon based energy infrastructure.
THE WORLD WIDE ENERGY CHALLENGE WILL ONLY BE SOLVED BY DYNAMIC AND FOCUSED INOVATION. IT IS CLEAR THAT WE HAVE LOST THE SHORT TERM BATTLE.
THE NEXT WORLD WIDE  ECONOMIC POWERHOUSE IIN THE NEXT TWENTY YEARS WILL NOT BE
EXXON/MOBIL OR MICROSOFT BUT NEW SOCIIAL ENTREPRENEURS  WHO CAN COME UP WITH NEW SOLUTIONS IN NASCENT RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGY THAT WIILL BENEFIT HUMANITY.
We have been witnessing a New Energy Paradigm that is taking no prisoner's.
THIS IS OUR WORLD AND WITH FOCUSED INTENT WE CAN MAKE THE NEEDED CHANGES TO DRAMATICALLY IMPROVE ITS PHYSICAL CONDITION. THE CURRENT COGNITVE DISSONANCE ON ENVIRONMENTAL AND SUPPLY ISSUES SEEM TO BE RULING THE DAY.
RECENT HEADLINES  STATE THAT GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS HAVE NOW SURPASSED SCIENTIST EXPECTATIONS BY A DECADE ALL POINT TO AN UNTHINKABLE
AND UNACCEPTABLE THRESHOLD OF DANGER.
ALBERT EINSTEIN said "You can't solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created the problem" The world has been addicted to fossil fuels for over one hundred years. We truly need to look at the energy issue through different eyes.
(INDIVIDUALS OR OTHER CORPORATE ENTITIES WHO WOULD LIKE TO GET IN FRONT OF THE EVOLUTIONARY CYCLE WITH US IN RENEWABLE ENERGY EDUCATION while CREATING  A SUSTAINABLE ENVIROMENTAL MODEL FOR THE BENEFIT OF FUTURE GENERATIONS THEN PLEASE CONTACT US. )
OUR LOCATION (70 MINUTES FROM OMAHA NEBRASKA) IS ONE OF THE FEW PLACES ON EARTH  WHERE THE INTEGRATION OF MOST ALL RENEWABLE ENERGY DICIPLINES CAN BE EXPERIENCED;
1. Wind Turbine in a federal designated wind turbine zone
2. Mini hydro availibility with a shallow under ground river.
3. Solar
4. Abundant local corn and soy that can be utilized for small batch bio-diesel and ethanol plants
5. Room for commercial green houses.
6. Biomass opportunities
100% sustainability.
IT IS A MORAL IMPERATIVE THAT WE BEGIN VERY SOON. AS BETWEEN A FLAWED Middle East Policy and a very weak U.S. Dollar that is used to purchase foregn crude oil we could see unfathomable higher energy prices cause misery and suffering to billions of people around the world.( I first wrote this in July of 2006)
The growth of COAL FIRED UTILITY PLANTS and the explosive use of Automobiles in both INDIA AND CHINA will be primarilly responsible for eliminating much of the worlds coastal areas perhaps as soon as 2020.
It is our goal at MIE to provide a hoalistic environmnet where education as well as research and developmnet can move forward without intellectual or philosophical prejudice.
WE HAVE A PHYSICAL CAMPUS AND A DYNAMIC GLOBAL CONCEPT BUT THIS IS SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH. OUR CAMPUS WILL ACT AS A LIVING LABORATORY FOR THE WORLD. WE CAN GENERATE THROUGH WIND TURBINES. GEOTHERMAL and SOLAR the needed energy to live, work and learn to live with THE MINIMUM USE Of FOSSIL FUELS.
We need to get hundreds of thousands of people focused and involved with us in the pursuit of finding real solutions by creative intent on every level.
The Midwestern Institute of Energy is currently the worlds only renewable energy college and reserach facility with over 65 acres and 360,000 sq ft of college campus that is dedicated to finding answers to global warming while seeking affordable environmental energy sources. Our curriculim through our certifiacte programs is initially focusing on bio-mass,geothermal, wind energy technologies, energy effcient vehicles, hydrogen and fuel cells. We are aware that these are mere stepping stones to future technologies that will eventually lead to more comprehensive solutions to global warming.. Real solutions to this global envrionmental crisis can only be induced by a collective and volitional intent by large numbers of people who are willing to come together with both the material and spirutal resoures to preserve the earth for future generations.
According to the 2006 IEA world energy outlook global energy supply and the environmental crises are intertwined. The world used 288 QUADRILLION BTU IN 1980 and in 2030  WILL REQUIRE 678 QUADRILLION BTU to fullfill its energy needs. The two main sources of the ENERGY pie as it currently stands are crude oil and coal which produces CO2 emmissions that are systematically and irrevocalbly damaging the entire earths eco-system through a green house effect. Unless renewable energy or other forms of environmentally benign nascent energy technology is not soon developed both China and India with their new found industrialized strength and energy needs will alter our environment forever.

A cognitive dissonance  is developing amongst the worlds populations (similar to the U.S. national debt) that cannot be allowed to continue. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SPREAD THE WORD ON WHAT WE ARE DOING AT THE MIDWESTERN INSTITUTE OF ENERGY. PLEASE SEND OUR LINK WWW.MIENERGY.NET to as many people and corporations as we truly need to shake up the collective consciousness.

WE ARE A NEW EDUCATIONAL INFLECTION and our educational concept Is formatted to REVOLUTIONIZE the way students will be educated during the 21st century. Our moral imperative is to make the world aware of the pending environmental disaster and prepare our students with the tools to excel in the growing renewable energy market.

We are the only species on earth that has the ability to completely eliminate our own earthly habititat. The flip side is that we have been endowed with the power to make meaningful and material changes within our enviroment through focused intent to make this world a better place for future generations.

The word "architect" is defined as a desginer of buildings or complex structures, it is also defined as "THE CREATOR". Our business model is for profit and the financial opportunities for our partners can only be described as spectacular.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR GENUINE PEOPLE FROM ALL NATIONS WITH PURE INTENT TO ASSIST US IN MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BE A PART OF SOMETHING THAT IS GREATER THEN YOURSELF THEN I HOPE THAT YOU WILL JOIN US IN FINDING SOLUTIONS TO GLOBAL WARMING AND AFFORDABLE ENERGY . TOGETHER WE HOLD THE FUTURE IN OUR VERY OWN HANDS.

Former Tarkio College will become energy institute

Jimmy Myers
Higher Education Reporter

TARKIO, Mo. — Chad Meek made his money in oil. Now he’s taking a stab at education.

Rankin Front Entrance
Front of Rankin Hall

Mr. Meek is an Orlando, Fla., resident and president of Clarity Resource, an oil and gas exploration and mineral extraction company. He never thought education could be profitable until he did some research. Now he’s taking on the role of chief executive officer of a for-profit private school called the Midwestern Institute of Energy (MIE). He announced Friday from the steps of Ranken Hall, the former Tarkio College landmark building, that the school will open in the fall of 2007. The target enrollment is 300.

Students will earn a bachelor of science degree after completing two years of general education courses and two years of research and development courses in areas such as physical science, fuel-cell technology, petroleum geology, and alternative energy such as wind and solar. The cost is estimated at $33,000 a year, which includes tuition, room and board. The teacher/student ratio will be 15:1.

Mr. Meek, who said the world is in the midst of an energy crisis, anticipates developing an online degree program as well.

“We want to be known for doing research and development across the world,” Mr. Meek said to a crowd of about 60 Tarkio residents and county officials who were supportive of Mr. Meek’s initiative.

The school will facilitate a scientific environment allowing students and researchers to combine their efforts in finding the solution to the energy crisis, Mr. Meek said. He’s hoping to attract corporate donors and Department of Energy grants to help fund the school. The campus buildings, which include the administration building, dormitories, apartments, classroom buildings and a library require an estimated $4 million to $5 million in renovations, he said. He’s currently negotiating with financiers and said renovations would begin “soon.”

For Immediate Release

Former Oil Wildcatter Switches Sides

TARKIO, MO., Nov. 26, 2006 Midwestern Institute of Energy (MIE) Founder and Futurist Chad C. Meek has switched sides in the environmental battle by starting an energy educational revolution at his Tarkio Missouri College Campus. No more late nights for the former wildcatter in bars trading oil leases in Dallas or Houston. He now utilizes his time more productively conducting interviews with college science professors on the effects of global warming on carbon rich permafrost that is now bubbling for the first time in 40,000 years.

Meek whose oil career has spanned 25 years which has taken him to places like war torn Bosnia as well as remote jungles in Honduras in search for oil, now finds he has little in common with his old petroleum fraternity. Meek could only laugh when he was recently teased by a former colleague who phoned him from Fairbanks Alaska asking him to not work too hard on global warming because he liked it warm.

The Midwestern Institute of Energy or MIE is a private college whose primary focus is to educate students in a multi-disciplined curriculum that includes renewable energy technologies such as Solar, Geothermal, and Wind Turbine.

According to a recent congressional sponsored study on education there will be a shortage of more then 500,000 engineers, scientists and other technically trained people in the United States by the year 2010. The demand for MIE educated students is unprecedented as last year American Universities were only able to produce 200 Petrochemical Engineers and less then 300 Petroleum Geologists.

Excess Carbon Dioxide (co2) emissions from fossil fuels are universally accepted by scientists as the number one threat to the environment. The 48 year old futurist predicts that confederations between traditional adversaries will soon begin to emerge because of the environmental crisis created by the Global Warming phenomenon.

Meek through the energy college he founded last June hopes to help lead the way in the 21st century by getting as many young minds enlisted in developing affordable renewable energy solutions that are environmentally benign. In addition the college is seeking outside joint ventures with corporations and researchers who are in need of a science based institution to facilitate their renewable energy R&D projects.

The coming environmental tsunami will require a new breed of energy professional that will offer elegant solutions to Global Warming. MIE students will receive an unparalleled holistic educational experience that will lead to lucrative renewable energy related professions during the 21st century.

The 56 acre college campus has recently contracted with HMN architects and Henderson Engineering to begin the phase one master renovation plan at the campus. The firms will be utilizing state of the art energy and environmentally efficient procedures outlined by the USGBC LEED program.

The Midwestern Institute of Energy, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Clarity Resources, Inc. The company is committed to Energy Education and Nascent Renewable Energy Businesses around the world.
